Curious... those of you who run a K04 + HFC, what was the effect [if any?] after installing the HFC?

Default I don't remember when/where, but I think someone did a dyno comparison
and it had no gains. However it opens up the flow a bit more...

Default I've got this set-up on my 02...
If you've got the cash, plus an aftermarket exhaust, I'd say go for it.

It shaved like 0.145secs off my 1/4 time along with my injector upgrade

Default AW member "Bhvrdr", compared OEM baseline/HFC, and his test revealed little if any gains....
I don't remember for sure but that is what I recall now, without confirming by researching myself. Search the archives for details.

Default How can you assign the -.145 to the HFC? IMO, that's easily within the ...
statistical variation on 1/4 mile times that can be assigned to any one of the many other involved factors. After all, that is the sport of drag racing, the driver's skill in managing the variables and increasing the consistency(minimizing the varation,) of ETs between runs.
