Current NHTSA registered complaints, re: coil pack
A check of the NHTSA web site shows approximately 118 filed complaints on the ignition coil/coil pack issue listed under Audi A4, A4 Avant, Volkswagen Passat and Jetta. These are also scattered under the headings:
Electrical
Electrical: Ignition
Electrical: Ignition coil
Engine
There may be more under different versions of these vehicles, as well. I am not sure if NHTSA, with its arcane search functions and reporting mechanisms, understands that they have so many complaints on the same issue scattered throughout their database.
