Default custom exhaust question?
Thinking of custom exhaust.The shop suggested deleating resonators. has anyone done this? pros /cons!? not sure this is a good idea.

Default Am running w/out resonators now...(m)
And I think it will mostly depend on the muffler you go with in terms of the sound. Had same issue in that my shop kept insisting on not putting the resonators on (they can always be put on afterwards). Anyhow, it felt like the upper rpm range opened up and while my exhaust is a little louder it is not obnoxious. Also, there is a slight drone when under a load going up a hill, but overall I can live with it for now.

I paid about $600 for a 2.25 custom exhaust but it's not mandrel bent.

Should note that none of the bends are real sharp so it's not a big deal (except dump n2 mufflers)
