CVT transmission slippage??

I'm experiencing intermittent acceleration lag where I can rev engine several seconds w/o corresponding car acceleration Most often from 10 mph/1000 rpm to 3000 rpm w/o any speed change for several seconds. Also twice wouldn't accelerate at all from stop. Any ideas?? Dealer claims car is fine including "computer logs" of malfunction. Thanks

that thing is falling apart and if not under warranty going to cost you and arm and a leg along with your first born!!

Seriously. The CVT is probably about to fail, and that is a very expensive fix..

Total it and file a claim with your insurance.......unless you're insured by AIG.

LOL my wife's brand new '08 B7 with CVT did that **** the other day. Threw a code too.

Car has less than 3K miles. B7's CVT were supposed to be better! :P

Are you sure that there is no computer log? Have someone local scan the car for you after the next time you experience this problem and print a copy of the results if any.
