I have read conflicting results from a number of people who have done big injector upgrade(GIAC, APR, REVO) on their tiptronic 1.8Ts.

Some suggested that the tip chip from Dahlback will help our tip tranny handle the increased power/torque.
KMD Tuning is the only place that sells this dahlback tip chip and they said they are not sure if the tip chip will work correctly with other softwares other than Dahlback.

can anyone give me some feedback on how dahlback tip chip is working with non-dahlback tuning program?

it alters the shift points/criteria, as well as shift time. You need to have the transmission physically altered to hold more power - look at the level-10 valve body upgrade

I thought usually dahlback software usually only works w/ dahlback stuff...ie tip chip and ECU...KMD also does GIAC and REVO. So your options aren't limited.
