Default Damn..had a leaky valve stem...resulted in me replacing an expensive tire

Had a slow leak in my Toyo T1-R (245/35/19) with Neuspeed RS10 wheel..filled it back up..and then headed off to work the next morning...noticed a different sound when I went over a lane divider reflector...so I pulled over on the freeway..and sure enough..the tire was extremely low on air. I limped off the freeway..and drove back home about 1.5 miles. I proceeded to remove the wheel/tire and took it to America's Tire for an evaluation. Turns out the valve was leaking..and since I drove that 2 miles with very little air (gradually leaking as I went)..the inside of the tire sidewall scrubbed off..to the tune of a nice pile of rubber (2-3 inches tall) in the inside of the tire. Suffice it to say..the tire was toast. Good thing I had another spare tire (in this same size) in my garage.

Oh well, its only money.
