DCH Audi has ruined my Audi Experience
Well I've had 2 A4's and I'm in the market for a new car but because of DCH in Maplewood NJ I will never buy another Audi product. Here is how DCH runs there business. First, I brought my car in for warranty work and an unscheduled oil change. When I picked up the car the oil change was not on the receipt. The service Manager Dion says, it's on the house because we kept your car overnight (what a nice guy). Well, the next day I check under the hood, oil is dirty as can be, and the oil filter is covered with grime. I call Dion, he tells me it was absolutely done, but if I'm unhappy bring it in for another one (sounded odd). Around the same time, DCH replaces my tranny under warranty. About a month later I start to hear a loud thud. My wife brings the car to Audi of Mendham and they inform her that the tech that replaced the tranny didn't install all of the bolts. DCH has the nerve to tell me they never replaced the tranny so they shouldn't be brought into the situation????? Dion tells my wife to drive the car over to him so he can look at it (a car missing critical bolts). Well Audi Corporate gets involved. DCH again denies working on the car and they want a tech from corporate to look at it. About a week later I get a call from Audi that after researching the warranty papers DCH did make the repair mistake. NOBODY ever calls me again from DCH. Now I have to drive my car 25 minutes for service to Bell. I hope my story makes you second-guess a purchase from DCH. The dishonesty and lack of follow-up shows me how they do business. I must say that I found Bell and Mendham to be great but why should I have to inconvenience myself? Unfortunately, a G35x is replacing my A4.

Don't let one dealer ruin it for you...
There's an Audi dealer that is very close to where I live (about 2 miles away), but I will never step foot inside because of how other customers are treated (and how they conduct themselves with other area Audi people). I chose a dealer that is 25 miles away. They are a volume Audi dealer with a huge service department, but they have an operation that is attentive and always customer focused.
I don't mind going the extra distance when I know I'm getting the service a customer deserves. You should really give consideration to the other two dealers you've mentioned. If they have their act together, they will make your owning an Audi a pleasureable experience.

The G35x should be trouble free.
Audi is not known for great customer care. If you really want to be taken care of then Lexus is a great brand. The G35 is a nice car, good engine, fair price, overall it is a good value. But get the car that makes you happy even if it means the dealer will have it 10 days over the next 3 years.

Thanks! =)
