Howdy...
2002 A4 3.0 AWD 6sp, 35k. I love it. When it runs. The car inconsistently sputters and dies; engine stalls at intersections. I take it to Audi and they've had it a week (twice now). They claim the only codes pulled were misc. misfires. The MIL was actually flashing at one point. Now they claim it runs fine. Should I just keep taking it in? Apparently, it's not throwing enough of a codes to decipher anything. This is quite frustrating. Oh yeah, I'm living 2 hours from the dealer. I'm moving to Denver soon and have had the car for one month. I didn't expect to have this much problem in the first two months. Oh yeah, the first time it was in they changed the MAS. It ran fine for one week. Now, it's gone. I'm stuck driving a POS rental grand prix...and I don't like it. Any ideas? It's three hits for the lemon-law, right? Help!!! THanks!

I would think they have checked for the LS recall (coils). Generally a faulty coil wouldn't cause it to stall, just to run really rough. Very possible a fuel pump issue, but can't recall seeing that complaint at my dealer. As far as lemon law. Most lemon laws state same problem 4 times within first year. Being a 2002, you are probably out of lemon law.
