Driving home yesterday, after signaling to change lanes, my trip comp said "front right turn signal" and put up the sign meaning it was out. OK. got home, and sure enough when you have the signal on, the parking light bulb doesn't blink. However, when the headlights are on the bulb is illuminated. Is this a bulb problem, or could it be something else?

i went through the hassle of borrowing someone's tools (left mine up at work) and removing my headlight to get to the damn bulb and put a new one in, but that fixed it. thanks!

I had both my front blinker bulb SOCKETS replaced. Same symptoms as yours, but both filaments in the bulb were intact. Apparently this is a common problem.
(I knew something was wacky when the blinker starting working again after I washed my car, and I hadn't changed the bulb yet.)
