Default It could be a little less, but why quibble over $40 if you are getting a good job and dealer support

Most BOSCH Service Centers preform excellent work. Mine is almost exclusivly Audi with about 100 years total of factory-certified experience. bosch.com has a locator for their Service Centers, it's worth finding good independant service. In many ways the Bosch Center is preferable over *anywhere* else outside Ingolstat.

Default Take it to NTB, they'll do it for $60. BTW there is no such thing as quattro alignment....

4 wheel alignment: yes. Quattro alignment: I call BS!

Default Not far off if they are going to loosen the subframe to do a proper Quattro alignment.

I have seen quotes of $250 for the Super alignment with subframe adjustment. This also includes moving the rack in its mounts. Then you have a very good alignment baseline to go from there in the future.

Default Loosening subframe and rack in mounts...yep there is a quattro alignment!

Plus I was told there is a special Quattro adapter for the Hunter alignment equipment.

Default Huh, what? I thought the FrontTrack and quattro suspension was IDENTICAL......

Also why would anyone with a 1 year old car need a subframe adjustment (if there is such thing, I'm not saying there is)

Again, I'm still pretty sure that the 4 wheel alignment procedure is IDENTICAL on both quattro and FWD Audis....

You shift the subframe to even the camber on both sides. Quattro rear suspension not same as FWD.

Default B6 rear suspension is identical, the subframe is different to house the rear diff, but otherwise....

it's the same. All removal instructions are the same for AWD and front track in the Bentley except to disconnect the drive shaft from the diff. Also ETKA parts are the same except for the subframe, but the subframe mounts to the chassis the same way whether you have FWD or Quattro. The rest of the suspension (links and arms) are identical.
