So if we chip and do not tell them and we cause damage to their computer we could be responsible for damage. Can a chip really do this?
I did not get into details because I don't have a chip. But if I did I would hate to mess up the dealer computer. I bet it is not cheap.

actually it isn't.
The VAG 1551/1552 will report errors when attempting to flash ECUs with updated programming. This in turn will receive an error of being unable to update.
That in terms is not BS. But if they are simply diagnosing problems, there is not 1 error they will receive.
