Dealer Service Question

I bought my A4 from a dealer that is near my home, but I work 40 min. from home and there is a dealer about 2 miles up the road from work.
Is it possible to schedule service (check engine light came on) with the dealer that is close to work? or do I need to have service performed where I purchased my car?

things like loaner cars and sometimes scheduling (depending on the dealer this isn't an issue - it's never been for me).

most dealerships reserve loaner vehicles for customers who purchased the car from them. If that's not an issue for you, you'll be all set.
Good luck with the check engine light...

the quality of the service department as I have been about the sales staff, if not more - sure, you want a good price, but once you take delivery, you'll be spending far more time with the service staff than you will with your salesperson. I bought two VWs from a dealer whose sales staff was truly great, but whose service department was SO bad that I eventually not only took my car elsewhere for service, but decided they'd never get another nickel of my money again. Why reward them for doing only half the job right?
