The V71 one was replaced in mine just recently throwing codes (early 2002 build)

I have an '02 Avant, mid-year build.

The motors are pretty simple to change out. I just have not had the time to troubleshoot in depth to determine if my motors need replacing, or my errors are symtomatic of another component.

Here's my VAG-COM summary of the DTC's I've had since I got a VAG-COM. The DTC's related to G113 and G143 happened once each, late 2006 and early 2007, with no reoccurrence. The other flap motors have had multiple sporadic DTC's.

- Actuating Motor for Temperature Flap; Left (V158)
41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent
- Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor (V71)
41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent
- Air recirculation Flap Positioning Motor (V113)
41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent
- Defroster Flap Positioning Motor (V107)
41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent
- Potentiometer Positioning Motor for Air Flow Flap (G113)
30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent
- Potentiometer in Positioning Motor for Air recirculation Flap (G143)
30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent
