Default The bulbs are serviceable, meaning all you have to do is pull out the cluster and then

replace the bulbs from the back of the cluster. They just twist out. I suppose you could get a different color bulb in the right size to fit the cluster. I believe the red color is just the appliqu? that is red with a white bulb shinning through, so to entirely get rid of the red you'd have to replace the guage faces, which means opening the cluster.

I'm not 100% sure about the red color though.

Default It's pretty easy actually.....

You need to pull the trim piece at the back/top of the sterring column off. It's the trim piece between the two button sets under the cluster.

Then it will expose two screws. Unscrew them, then pull from the base of the cluster outward toward yourself. It should release. Be careful not to scratch up your steering column and surround trim/buttons. Then you have to unhook the connectors from the back of the cluster.

Once the cluster is free you should see the bulbs in the back exposed.

Default just did a quick search and it appears our clusters have LED's that are non-serviceable...

I assumed we were still like the B5's where you could simply replace the blubs. Not so easy of a change unless you're handy with a soldering gun.

http://www.nav-plus.com/instructions/a4b6dash.html

i believe the lights are somewhere inside the small circle which is where the needles go in... doesn't look it would be an easy task to replace them...

How easy was it to pull that thing apart? Mine has dust in it that I'd like to remove.
