Hi all.
Well I am a current owner of A4 1.8T and I just visited infiniti.com and saw G35 Coupe. Damn, the performance is much better, 280 hp vs 170 hp. I am struggle if I should return my A4 (there is a 30 day refund for my dealer) and get the G35 Coupe. It looks very nice as well. I need you guy's opinion. Like in what way does A4 better than G35???
thanks

Here in Los Angeles, I don't like the car much anymore because they are so common. When it first came out, I really liked the car and its styling, but now the styling is bland and I'm sick of them. This would probably come down to if you needed a sedan or coupe and if you needed AWD or not (assuming your A4 is a quattro model). The G35 sedan is ugly as hell IMO so that's a definite no-no.

the nissan products are so much more performance oriented. Much more fun to drive. Audi has them in int but honestly its not even as bad as people say it is. Most of the people who complain about the int are just jumping on the bandwagon to complain about it.

The coupe is awesome but really not practical for my lifestyle. Tempted though.
The sedan, I was not impressed. The styling is unique, a little bulbess but not timeless, not clean and not classy like the A4. Door feel is a little tinny too. This is a problem w/ some rice cars, IMO.
A4 knockout punches: Styling (int/ext), quattro and Audi Advantage. Never grew tired of any Audi Car. Styling or performance. Money goes to Audi.

...and on the other side of the paper (things the G35c does well) add the following:
* 280hp v6
* 3D Navigation
* Price:Performance
I test drove both the Z and G35c last week, and was amazed by the powerplant and (external) beauty of both cars. The interior is no Audi, but as boosted said, its quite liveable. Go look at a WRX if you want to see a horrid interior.
Like Charlie Brown waiting for the Great Pumpkin, I'm waiting for Audi to shove a competetive v6 in the A4. All I kept thinking on the test drive was, "wow - if my car had this engine, it would be perfect".
I'm hanging in there with my Audi, but I get closer and closer to ending this "relationship" with every passing day.

I don't think the G35 coupe will be available in AWD. Even if your comparison is A4 1.8Q and G35X sedan, I think two aspects of the G35X might impact your decision:
1. Fit and finish. The interior pieces of the G35 seem very cheap, and I would not be surprised if you had more rattles that a baby day care in a couple of years.
2. Resale. Infiniti is not exactly known for strong resale.
The horsepower is intoxicating though...
