Default diverter valve clamp missing

I have an 02 A4 1.8t rechipped and replaced the stock dv with a Forge DV. Would a missing clamp on a replacement diverter valve's vacuum line cause poor acceleration??

Don't know, but it wouldn't hurt to put one on.
