Default DIY brakes + rotors

Installed front brembo rotors and pads yesterday. Beyond happy that i decided to DIY. Before I discovered this site I had dealer replace rear pads and rotors....walked away 500$ poorer. He said it was 5 hours of labor at 60$ an hour plus parts. What a filthy liar, unless the rears are significantly more difficult.

Rears are easy too..you just need a caliper piston retracting tool.

Default Never, never go to a dealer for brake jobs.

I've learned that when I had my Camry. The Toyota dealer charged me $600CAD ($520US) to change the front pads and rotors and I was stupid enough to think that it was okay.

Default I say this now but I think I am going to do mine when the time comes.

The only thing I think I would have an Indy shop do would be to replace the fliud and bleed the brakes. I don't trust myself when it comes to bleeding them properly.
