Just a FYI with the windshield plastic grill part. It can be a pain but I finally took some advice and sprayed it down with a soap water solution. I can't tell you how easy and slick it makes that. No more worries about breaking or cracking it.

The process barely took me an hour. I chose to just replace the whole transmission, and it was simple as cake.
Bought a new unit from Europa Parts for less than $60. The part fits perfectly, and there were no hiccups along the way.
