Default Do Audis have "soft" glass. My windsheild is toast......
I drove though a harsh pacific storm in cental Ca. and the wind blew up sand and dirt and the result 1000s of pin ***** holes in the windsheild. Any luck going though waranty, as it should not pit like this. I have a 250 deduct...So at worst i will eat that.

Default Mine doesn't look any worse than any other car I have owned.
I see lots of salt, sand etc every year. 44,000 miles and 3 winters on mine.

Yes. Audi windshields have high % of recycled glass. Environmentally sound but soft.

Default Safelite is like 312 brand new..............
and you can get PPG or OEM

Default I'm pretty sure that this is NOT covered under warranty
since the storm was an Act of God and not Ingolstadt's fault.
