Do you believe the engine on a CVT car will last longer?

I mean, I have a CVT 3.0, and for the best of me, I can never get the RPM's beyond 4,000 rpm. Redline is at 6,500 rpm.
Not that I'm complaining. The car actually pulls quite nicely when I thrash the peddal to the floor.
I'm just thinking that my engine never sees a lot of stress and never breaks a sweat (due to the CVT). So I'm guessing maybe it will last a little longer than the regular car engine. Any truth to this?

My engine (that drives my CVT) does not experience the same high rpms that an engine which drives a tiptronic automatic transmission experiences.
