Do you think it matters what brand of radiator you get
So, I am going to purchase a new radiator. But there is a big price difference in the OEM (ecstuning), and another brand.
Do you think it really matters generally?
I am sure everyone will say yes.

I think generally the answer is yes. I have been bit by cheap "knockoffs" too many times. I generally stick with OEM.
Did you have a chance to look at your radiator and see if it was as easy as I remember?

Yeah. I have been posting an few threads about it. I got it the old one removed, and am waiting for the new one to Arrive.
I did have a question about the lower passenger side radiator hose. When I pulled it out, it started leaking oil, or trans fluid all over. I stopped it, but I lost some. I wasn't expecting that.
I am not sure I understand how that works.

Yeah, saw the other thread and I guess becuase of my firewall at work, can't see the picture. What transmission do you have? Generally, is a small line (1/4 or 1/2 inch) or large 2 or 3 inch line)? Reason I ask is tips have a tranny oil cooler where manuals don't. Regardless, I will look at the picture when I get home and see if I have it.

Probably tranny oil going into the cooler. You will have to check you tranny oil level which I am not sure how to do since I have a manual. Any others know how to do this? Is there a "dipstick" or do you have to remove a fill plug and check?

There isn't a dipstick, you do have to check/fill from under the car. This would be a good time to change the ATF and filter if it hasn't been done in a few years. Just don't remove the check plug without the engine running, otherwise you'll lose a lot more fluid!
