I'm wondering if it uses the same 13-pin round connector on the back as the old trunk mounted ones. The reason is that Blitzsafe asked if it did when I requested information about a line in to CD changer adapter for the 2002 A4. Apparently, they aren't too familiar with the Symphony II head unit yet.

I told them that the car doesn't come prewired with the CD changer wire like the old ones did, and that the dealer just installs the cable to the glovebox at the time of CD changer installation.

If the new glovebox changer still uses the round connector, then I can just (hopefully) get the cable for the head unit to glovebox and use the line in adapter from there.

(or better yet, has anyone successfully installed a CD changer to line in adapter - i.e. Blitzsafe?)
