Does, anyone know how to remove the OEM shift knob? Is it easy?

very easy... don't twist and just loosen the clamp on it....

Default Instructions...

1) Remove the bottom of the boot from the console. There are 4 clips (2 on either side) that attach it to the console. Hold one side of the boot and pull it towards the other. You'll feel it pop out and you'll be able to lift it up over the ****.

2) You'll see a metal clip that wraps around the base of the **** (under the boot). Twist this clip to remove it. If you break this clip, you can replace it with a zip-tie if you need to reinstall it.

3) Pull straight up on the **** and it should slide right off.

Should be very easy. Good luck...
