Just buy one, take it to the dealer parts counter for comparo or buy a dealer one

for comparison. I have the label I saved from #3500 right here.

Just got back. He said the #3402 would fit...but he gave some crap about it saying it could void my warranty, not as good, etc.

If Bosch specifies #3402 as correct filter for your A4, Audi cannot void your warranty because of it

Good work. He was full of b/s about warranty, Audi uses Bosch too. Did you compare to the #3500 or

just #3402? I just want to know, because I use the #3500 based on it being identical to the oem one. I had them side-by-side, but am going to check out the #3402, if it is smaller I will still use the #3500. Good luck regardless, I did not mean to make a lot of work for you, thanks.

I appreciate your advice. The dealer got to me and I ordered the oem filters from clairparts. He said the #3402 would fit. It is shorter than the #3500, as I compared the too.
