Does anyone transport their dog in their sedan? Any suggestions for dog transporting...

as Audi accesories don't include a back seat protector for dog transport?

back of the front seats, everything. As soon as your done, just pull out the sheet and your interior is still perfect.

at least queen fitted over the back seat, tuck under headrests and in "crotch" by seatbelt receptacles. Am assuming your dog is sizeable. Not to spark a battle here but IMHO its not a "dog" unless over 60lbs. I have a 115# Bernese MTN dog

2 front head rests, sort of like a big velour dog taco shell....yumm...dog tacos, getting hungry just thinking of it.

They make covers for the back seat that work quite well. The whole bedsheet thing is a BAD idea. Not only will it not protect the seat from your dogs nails, but it also leaves the footwells open...a dangerous proposition for your pooch if you ever slam on the brakes. The back seat covers I have seen attach to the back of the front seats, and completely cover the footwell area, so your dog can't fall in. They are usually well padded as well.
