Default Go down to your local WalMart, K-Mart, Target...

and get a long, rubber-backed bathroom rug. The rubber backing won't slip on the seat, protects very well against accidents, and Rover has something he can grip with his paws. I've tried tons of expensive crap over the years, and this simple solution has worked the best. It's also my 150lb Akita's favorite, and I'm not arguing with her :-)

Big movers blankets work great and they are thicker then sheets, I put two gromet holes in the top and then loop it around the headrests in the back to keep it from sliding. The blankets are nice and thick and protect the seats really well.
