Default Nope. No one really knows. Some say it is magic break in oil.

But if you do a search you will find that no one knows or has a part number. It is all urban legend.

Default Also if you need to add oil I would add dino the first 5000 miles.

You want some engine wear to break it in right.

Default It's the offical Audi answer to your questions - you're quite welcome.

It doesnt get any more black and white - says, "the oil which was first put into your engine has a viscosity of xWxx"

They dont spell out the fact that its synthetic, but due to the grade, it pretty much has to be.

Default Manual says it's filled with 0w-30. Have fun finding conventional 0w-30.

Actually, it's just as hard finding synthetic 0w-30 that meets the specs laid out in the manual. Either find and use the Castrol Syntec 0w-30 that is "made in Germany" or use Mobil 1 0w-40.

Two coworkers went to the Audi plant last week, I asked them to find out, they forgot to ask!
