Never had any problems - 240, 760, 740, S80, S70 (sister)

With the engine at least...we got the S80 in 98, so they hadn't worked out any bugs (bad move).

Other than the random leaks it hasn't been that bad

The dealer's here though are awful.

None that I know of...

... of course any car of sufficient age might. I've owned 6 high-pressure turbo Volvos in the past 10 years and the only time I had an oil leak was one one with 60,000+ miles of heavy use (twin turbos) after I had blown some seals. It was fixed and never leaked again.
