Does my factory deck have pre-outs for amplifiers with the bose system?

I wonder if changing the VAG coding from Bose to non will turn on or off the pre-outs?

Default I've done that before, and nope, no effect. It only changes the head unit's EQ settings it seems(m)
I have the Bose system, and changing the coding in the head unit to non-Bose did not affect the use of the amp, which runs off those pre-outs.

The pre-outs seem to be always active. Some people with non-Bose systems used the pre-outs for installs, if I recall, without any changes to the head unit.

Default It did not do anything in my 2000 symphony from what i remember....
i piddled with every setting and not much changed....we did this at the dealer with their vag-com
