hmm.....They used to be in the older Audi
There's one guy with a previous B5 A4 that did it....looks like a good idea to me

I was very disappointed to find that the car didn't (m)
Cheaper cars than ours have them - what's Audi thinking by omitting it? case in point - my fathers '93 olds had one, and to boot it was detachable with about a 12' cord and a built in reel. the light had a magnetic base on it so you could drag it around to the side of the car and stick it to the fender while changing a flat. I thought it was a great idea - and still do. I'm thinking of finding and olds in a junk yard and ripping that light out and installing it in my car - I know, blasphemy to put a GM part in a Audi!

actually, the part that he used was from a Euro B5.....and the late 80s-early 90s
Audi's had them...
