dolphin grey 1.8, with ebony or platinum interior?

My past 2 cars...
have had dark interiors as well, the latest my 00 A4 1.8 with EBONY leatherette interior. 69 degrees today in Morgantown, WV, and very hot nside the car...I too am tired of the dark interiors...plus my wife has an 02 impreza with black/grey interior. It gets very hot as well. I test drove a Dolphin 3.0 with Platinum back in October. I fell in love with it an ordered a Dolphin 3.0 with platinum leather (set for delivery within 2 weeks...). I am a big fan of the platinum...and was in need of a change

durability
the long term durability of a light color is not as good in my opinion. If you plan to keep the car for a long time, the platinum color may show discoloration, or color stains moreso than the black. I fear that jeans can do a number to platinum interiors over time...

I got Dolphin with Ebony because it looks better with the aluminum trim...
and I thought the Ebony looked more like leather. I do live in a hot climate (N. CA) so I will suffer this summer.

Dolphin/Ebony & I really like it
