Default yeah, it looks like all they did was spray black and clear coat, the chrome underneath is shiney

Despite my inability to spell "libel", the fact remains that you're smearing the reputation of the company based solely on your experiences with them. I'd expect that most here are bright enough to see through your attempt to hurt UI's sales because they dropped the ball on your urgent $20 purchase. As a lawyer, I'd expect you would be above that, but I guess I've been wrong before.

Even if I don't agree with your approach, best of luck with your situation.

seriously, I made such a stink about it that he refunded my money and then said he'd send me a set for free.... I'm still waiting, btw.


if you want another customer's experience, I'd be HAPPY to dig up the emails.

Default if you do it... here's how to do it right!

find a glass bead booth. You can strip the chrome off with that and it doesn't damage the plastic underneath.

you can then use a proper plastic primer and paint/clear on top of that.

it works, and then, if they do chip a bit it doens't look like ****.
