looked like upshifting, but i couldnt tell by rpms sound. not sure,
looked like he went up two gears to get out of high rpms during turn, before downshifting again to accelerate out of a turn or something

explanation of the clutching.
The driver in the foot video is not clutching on the upshifts. You'll notice that he is doing a small throttle lift, then there's the shift (you can hear the engine RPM change). Depending on the gearbox, you don't have to actually use the clutch on upshifts, and I think that he's just paying a ****load of attention to keepin the throttle lift synchronized with the shift and his left leg is just moving a little, because the small depression on the pedal is NOT enough to disengage the clutch. While the footwork is really quick, it's not that clean.

it's not upshifting, he's in his top gear, I believe feathering the throttle
to stay off the rev limiter...
anyone with some racing experience got any for sure explanation, I'm not 100% on this.
