Drunk Compass - anybody have this?

Drunk Compass - anybody have this?
The rearview mirror compass seems to randomly change direction at anytime and generally is completely off the direction i am heading. It did work briefly a couple of times but only for a minute or two.....any help?
(btw..i did make sure it was set to the right zone)

find an open area (parking lot) and drive in a circle 3x over 5mph (dont do donuts). this may recalibrate the system. it works on the infiniti compass.
