The 17545 came back again
joined with another:

16804 - Catalyst System: Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0420 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

Its getting better and better since i brought it to that garage

Over here we have APK which is a mandatory test for all cars once a year and it passed.
Cannot believe Cat is broken/damaged

I cleared the codes but im sure the 17545 will come back again
not sure bout 16804

I think i will give the garage a call, just to see what they say.
I was wondering about your opinions..

How many miles on it? Depending on the answer to that, I would not think it is the cat. I get that one periodically, but it is usually related to when my son's stalls the car. It clears after several drives and does not return with "normal" driving.

Also, APK? Is that the rolling road emissions test? How did that look?

As far as system too rich code, just because of ease and cost, I would replace the MAF with a good quality one. No knock-offs from ebay. Clear and drive for a while and if it returns, then go after the O2 sensors.

It has currently 95.000 original kilometers which is i believe is somewhere around 56.000 miles.

APK can be compared to the English MOT test:

The Ministry of Transport test (usually abbreviated to MOT test) is an annual test of automobile safety, roadworthiness aspects and exhaust emissions which are applicable to most vehicles over three years old in the United Kingdom if they are used on public roads.

Emission test was ok.

The only thing i havent checked is the 0-ring in the breather valve.
Called the garage but bottom line was to bring in the car again and pay again.
Perhaps i should replace the MAF then..

And i forgot to mention, the lever of the the variable intake manifold that connects to the joint or how u call it that plastic thing is broken.. happens alot so i was told.

Not sure if it could have anything to do with with whole thing
but im planning to use a creative fix for that, instead of replacing the whole drive unit which will cost me some hundreds again.

Don't know what part of the intake you are referring to. Upstream or downstream of the turbo? Can you take a picture?
