Dumb question, but hw many boxes of the Hawk HPS pads do I need to replace all pads, front and back?

Default Dumb question, but hw many boxes of the Hawk HPS pads do I need to replace all pads, front and back?

1 box (4 pads) or 2 (8 pads)?

each corner needs 2 pads, F and R sizes are diff

2 sets. 1 set of front, 1 set of rear. Each box contains 1 axles worth of pads.

Interesting...ECS only has one type, without sensors. Do I need to find those w sensors elsewhere?

Default tirerack.com has the ones with sensors

just make sure you identify your car correctly! (see my knucklehead move below)

Default You don't need the sensors. Just close the circut using the wires from the old pad.

I closed the circut on all of our VW/AUdi's and it works great. No more idiot light to go off when **** get stuck in the sensor or you get crud build up in there. If you really want the sensors make sure you order the correct shaped sensor. there were 2 variations over the years.

I bought my Hawk HPS pads with sensors from autopartswarehouse.com
