Default Yep. Must not be perfectly sealed. It's just at the bottom though, so I don't care/notice it. (m)

My 2001 VW had this, but it was obviously coming in through the holes for the odometer reset/clock *****. I'm not sure on this one.

I wouldn't bother trying to clean it out. You have to take the steering wheel off to get the instrument cluster out, and even then, it's not meant to be opened (read: void warranty).

also got the same prob very anoying.

You can't remove the plastic face unless you have the instrument cluster out...

if you have one, blow it around the bottom of the cluster. i usually works when i get ashes back there

Default I tried the opposite... by vacuuming long the bottom edge.

Dust is still there.
