Default DV Installation - Hose clamps required?

Bought a DV off ECSTuning, and information states "Hose clamps not included (34mm clamps needed)"... Are these clamps already there, holding the stock DV in place? Or do I need to purchase ?

Thanks for any info..

Default The clamps holding the stock DV are crimped OEM clamps...

they are hard to get off, you'll probably end up cutting them. I used T-Bolt clamps for my DV, they hold like there's no tomorrow.

You can get some here, amongst other places.<ul><li><a href="http://hightempsilicone.com/category/stainlessctclamps.tbolts/">http://hightempsilicone.com/category/stainlessctclamps.tbolts/</a</li></ul>

those t-clamps are nice but overkill for a DV. you can get nice hose clamps at any auto store.

Default .

I used two 1" T-Bolt clamps and one small regular hose clamp for the vacuum line (some people even use zip ties instead for this one).
Your setup is probably not going to look exactly like mine because I removed a few parts in that area.

Default You're right, they are overkill for a DV but...

I was changing all my FMIC clamps to T-bolts so I figured why not while I'm working in the area. I was getting a little fed up with stripping regular hose clamps while tightening them so I decided to go with the T-bolt, no way I'm ever going to strip these, the tubing will collapse first!

Default hehe, you could crush your DV with those clamps.

at least the boost side of the DV could benefit from the extra clamping, I suppose
