Default Wow, I think you are the first on the board with the E05, congratulations.

Two questions:

Is the ported manifold required (it's the exhaust manifold right).

And did he say how big a difference it would make?

Also, dyno # would be amazing.

Default Now that your K03 is off the car - could you measure the inlet? It should be 44mm IF

this is the K03 Sport turbo. Thanks!

Default Also, where did you get the ported manifold from?

According to your post it also took 10 hours to install?

I'm assuming that was with the Dual IC and exhaust, so just the turbo kit would be around 5 hours?

Default I can hear all the "cha-ching" for the E05, while other tuners Stage II/III kits rust.

This E05 kit will be hard to beat for cost/power.

If the E05 is actually a bigger version of the K04, I wonder if the boost/power it is seeing is pushing it to its max-thus a shortened lifespan? (one reason I do not want a K04). If it is not being pushed to its max, then this kit will be a very good buy/upgrade compared to other kits that will be $2-$3K more and yet only be around 280-300HP. I would still rather have a T-28 or something bigger with that extra power and having it not pushed as much. But at this price and around 260HP, maybe even 270HP (depending on all the upgrades), I'm tempted now.

Take it to AMS and dyno on the MAHA.

well the E05 isnt pushing too much power so that could mean that the engine won't wear-out which would cst more than just getting another turbo. Although I think that our engine can handle 300hp. As for me I think I'm going to go E05 cause it's cheaper and I don't want a huge surge of power and also with the E05 you can run a SSMIC where as with the T-28 you should run a FMIC and I don't care for how the FMIC looks.
Just my 2 cents.
