Default Sure thing Mike..... That's at the top of my "to-do" list. ;-)

Car wasn't chipped prior to slapping this puppy in so it's instant grin from side-to-side of my face. :-)

Default Nope... tranny was made to handle this upgrade just fine....

Honestly I don't think I'll be having any problems with it.

Default Yeah the ported manifold is needed. Honestly it's not that big of a deal to get....

In fact I'd say it's the most effortless part of the kit. Biggest pain in this install was waiting for everything to be put back together. :-)

Default Yeah.... took out the stock ECU and put in the Neuspeed chip....

Coming from a strickly GIAC background, I'm very impressed with how much the car pulls. I'd say even a bit better than the X-Chip on my last B5.

Default The E05 "kit" consists of Neuspeed software. I'm not sure if APR/GIAC have tested their stuff on...

it yet. However, the only reason why I jumped at this was I wanted to be one of the first to have it to give some feedback on what I think will be the next stage of turbo upgrades.

Actually the ported manifold is not needed, it is an option.

Default The biggest difference is the wastegate, the E05 has custom wastegate which is obviously larger...

From what I was told the E05 wont produce anymore power then the K04 it will just spool up faster and already be a better performer but the power will be the same. The E05 is a modified K03 which is done by the company eurospec, whereas the K04 is a direct turbo from BorgWarner. One thing to note aswell, there is only a 6 month warranty through Eurospec on the E05, and the K04 has a one year warranty through BorgWarner.
