Ok, so I still have not received that amp I told you guys about - the one where the guy had a 10-day processing delay for personal checks. Anyhow, it's been like 2 1/2 weeks since I bought the amp so here's what I wrote to him:

Vitaliy,

Since I still have not received any word of the shipment, I'm considering
submitting an Online Fraud Report via ebay. If I have not received a
tracking number by August 17, I will do so.

However, if you ship the amplifier by tomorrow, August 7, not only will I
not report you to ebay, but I will also not give you bad feedback.

This is the worst ebay transaction I have ever experienced. If you are
found guilty of online fraud, your selling priveleges will be immediately
revoked.

First of all, if you want your item fast, don't pay with personal check
I did informed you earlier that we will hold personal check for 10 days
before shipment
10 days went through exactly this Monday, item should be shipped asap
Believe me I don't need your $200, I can make more in 1 day
If you place any bad feedback or do any fraud complains, I will invalid your
warranty and will do my actions against you since you're violation our
policy and discriminate our business
If you're so suspicious to online business, just go in your local store and
buy Now im informing you that your item will be shipped out asap

In his defense as I have done hundreds of Ebay transactions his "10 day holding period" likely means business days so 2 weeks is 10 business days. That is to ensure that the cheque clears before shipping. Now ... he should have made that clear but that is likely his point. In the mean time as long as you have regular communication with him there is no need to get worried ... yet ! Face it a thief wouldnt take your money then continue to answer your emails ! What is his Ebay rating anyways ?

trust me, this guy is just bad.
The 10 day waiting period ended on sunday.
He never returned my emails or phone calls until I finally sent this one -
His rating is terrible - like 30 negs in the last 6 months.

And the reason I didn't use paypal? I'm in boston for a period of time and my cc bills get sent to cali, my home address. didn't want to deal with sending it up here, since he sells from NY.

This guy is just plain bad - he left a voice mail saying he'd send the amp monday but lo and behold - no tracking #. the tone in his voice was hostile and unprofessional.

my point is - if you're going to run a business, do it well. pay attention to what the customer wants, because in the long run, sh*tty quality will f*ck you over.

Business days don't count weekend days. So your 10 day period could not have ended on a sunday.
