to get the voice guidance to work, you do need the CAN01BUS adaptor from Soundgate, after installed it today, it finally works. hope this helps for those who are wondering how to get the Speed pulse sensor.

I just bought that same unit from a buddy of mine. What is a CAN01BUS? I gues I'll need that also. How much is it? Does sound gate have a website. Please email me or reply back. Good looking out. By the way. how does it perform. It got really good ratings on a article I read. I havent installed it yet so I have some time to get whatever I need to get the voice guidance to work.

yea to get the voice guidance to work you must purchase a CAN01BUS adaptor from soundgate http://www.soundgate.com/, the unit performs very well, it has dual slots so you would not need a CD changer, you can leave the NAVI DVD in the DVD slot and still listen to your fav MP3s in the CD slot. i'm very happy with this unit.

Sounds good, How much did the CAN01BUS adaptor cost? Have you tried the DVD playback yet? Cant wait to get it installed, Do you have pics of the install? I'm curious because the opening for the stereo is larger than the AVN 2454 unit. I'm sure they have an adapter kit to make it fit right, I just want to see how it looks installed.

Man $200 for that module? How loud is the voice guidance? I heard the voice is only projected out of the front left speaker. Thanks for posting the pics.
