The balast fits on the cover so it's directly behind the bulbs.

they're "bi-xenon"...

it's an option on the S4 over in Europe... i don't believe they made it over to NA.

Do A4 and S4 bi-xenons have grey insides without the chrome....I guess that's what I need to know.

Default S4 ones do... i don't believe there are any A4 xenon-plus out there...
