ECT (engine coolant temp.) sensor location on B6 3.0 V6?

The tech articles and archives indicate procedures for 1.8t motors. Is there anything out there for a 3.0 v6? As always, pics are most appreciated (pics, diagrams, drawings, freakin finger paint, anything)

Below air intake pipe behind right (passenger side) cylinder head.

So says Bentley.
Looks like you need to remove the engine cover to get to it.

Anything about removing the intake pipe? Does it get in the way at all?

From the bentley diagram, doesn't look to be in the way too much.
