Eibach vs Neuspeed springs

Looking to lower my non-sport with aftermarket springs/struts. Got a install quote for under 1k for eibach prokit and prodampers (includes install and alignment). But, have heard many refer to the eibachs (1.3 and 1.4" drops) as being too soft. Dont want to drop it more than 1.5" Measured the gap today (2.5 front and 2 in the rear, so i dont want to go to low, speed bumps in the neighborhood). Would neuspeed (the 1.5" drop springs) w/bilsteins be better? Any other kits that drop less than 1.5"? Thanx

the rear of the car, all other springs keep the front a little higher than the rear look.

...because the stifness depends on the damper (shocks) setting. Koni yellows anywhere above medium setting will require a kidney belt for higher speed undulations ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Seriously, I couldn't be happier with the Eibachs--they are the perfect level of drop looks wise and more importantly, the car corners like it is on rails. The only thing to be careful with is the shock package--but if you get something like Koni yellows you can always adjust them later, but it will cost you as they have to be removed to be adjusted.
I love the fact that the car looks hunched down ready to pounce, not dragging its rear end like the factory sport option. And they aren't outrageously expensive, either.
The Eibachs for the previous gen A4 eventually became a dealer-installed option, but I don't think it is going to happen this time because they are the same drop/essentially the same package as the upcoming S4 springs (which is almost double the drop of the A4 sport package). Audi needs people to pay full buck for the S4, not upgrade their A4's. All the more reason to get them.

You talked about the Konis so I assume thats what you used. The shop I got the quote from used matching eibach pro-dampers (didnt think they were available for the B6 but they say they got them). Was thinking maybe of taking bilsteins to the shop and using them with the eibach springs.
