Engine making strange sound :(....can anyone help tell me what it might be??
My car has never had a problem...but today i noticed an odd sound when i was drving in the parking deck...at around 3200 rpms in first gear I hear a grinding noise....It also makes this sound when i rev the engine to about 3200 then goes away as i rev higher, and makes the sound again as the rpms go down and pass 3200 rpms....It sounds like the sound of two metal disks spinning and touching each other. Does anyone know what it could be??! TIA!
