...You slip on the A4, and the seats and controls align with your body in an agreeable way that says, "perfect fit." The cockpit is notable for its sheer handsomeness, too. Muted, richly textured materials, astutely designed guages and controls, a meaty three-spoke steering wheel- you could search the automotive kingdom far and wide and not find a more inviting environment for conducting the business of driving... Not a car for astounding your pals, the A4 nonetheless serves up solid performance... Steering feel is exquisite, and the nicely balanced quattro chassis carved through our slalom course at a rousing 66 mph. The A4 stops impressively too... Our only quibble; the six-speed shifter gets rubbery and vague when you're trying to play speed racer. YOu'd still have to arm-wrestle us for seat time, however... The A4... pays back with exceptional refinement, an enduring shape, and a cabin that makes our eyelids fullter every time we see it... and the Avant variant might be the best-looking sport wagon on today's roads.
Not too shabby.

only two things i miss from the Maxima are the HP and Nav.
Maxima:
-resale value was absolutely Horrible.
-torque steer makes the HP uncontrollable
-Xenons take 1 minute to steal. (happened to me)

After I replied:
"You have certainly not driven one, or else you would have not made this comment."
He responded with another ROTFL:
Actually, yes I have. A buddy of mine (in Germany) had an Audi 30 for many years. I used to borrow his car on occasion when I lived there. Another friend had a '97 A6. It was nice for about a month. He's since bought a Diamler 300-series. The Audis feel like overpriced Volkswagens, which is their common heratige. (Although I belive Porsche worked on Audis for Horch(?) long before Hitler hired him to do the VW. I could be wrong.)
