Default OT: always liked your setup; very clean and subtle...

i did the DSMIC and TT225s, but never got to the vented wheel liners. i ended up selling the car in 06 before moving to japan.

i see you've been busy again! :P

Default Whoa that is Macgyver fab work right there

I think I would have just found someone with an oxy torch to heat up the hanger and just bent it to sit higher by moving the bracket down. I had to do this on a B5 S4 APR exhaust on my old car. Not as easy if you dont have access to a torch, but if you ask around they usually arent too hard to find. Just measure, make some marks and use a quick jig if necessary, heat and bend with your favorite instrument of persuasion.

Default Like I've stated before, unless the position of the hanger is changed (at the weld), simply

changing the angle of the bracket bend will only make the tips and mufflers hang at odd angles. Makes for a cool ricey setup if you ask me, no thanks. I could have done that since I have a torch and several instruments of persuasion. The other option would be leaving the weld in place, straightening the factory bend and making a new bend lower. But that would be a whole lot of work.

Default I straitened the hanger and rebent it

"The other option would be leaving the weld in place, straightening the factory bend and making a new bend lower. But that would be a whole lot of work."

That's what I meant, and that's what I did. It was a PITA but fixed it perfectly.

That's good, I assume you unmounted the mufflers right? Still I agree, real PITA.
