I just had my Milltek exhaust installed, but the OEM hangers are so sloppy/loose that it is difficult to get the exhaust tips to sit any higher into the cutouts in the rear bumper. Is there a shorter hanger or a revised hanger that might work better? I am open to suggestions and ideas. And please don't suggest that i should have bought an MTM system..
Thanks.

I had a Milltek system installed last month and the alignment wasn't at all what I wanted - huge gap between the tip and the top of the cut out. I gave the system three weeks to take shape and shift around, then took the car to a local welder to get the system installed the way I wanted it. He ended up taking the entire system from the down-pipe back off the car and starting over. He also ajusted the length of the hanger rods so that the tips fit directly into the cut out. The outcome looks 110% better than it did the first time round.

I had a local shop do the install. They were kinda numbnutz and too expensive. By the time they quoted me the price of the install the guy out in the shop had already cut my stock system into peices. I was not happy, but between a rock and a hard place. So they completed the install, they had to fabricate a bracket for the front since the front downpipe bracket on the milltek did not even come close to maching up with the car. I am trying to avoid to much cutting and welding. I was hoping there was just some type of replacement hanger.. Or maybe i will just have to make a different hanger. I just have a hard time spending this much on an exhaust and having to cut and paste new parts onto it to work..
