you can get to it a couple of different ways
Push and hold menu for five seconds or do the more complicated procedure.
turn the radio off. push and hold preset #3 or #4 and while holding it, push the power button. It will take you right into the SVC settings. I don't remember if 3 or 4 gets you into that setting, but it's one of them.

If turning of the svc does not work you may have my problem...
when my car gets really hot inside (sitting in the sun a couple of hours) the volume will get really jumpy for the first 10.15 minutes. the hear from the sun shorts out the speaker in the dash. there is a tsb out on this. it sounds like bad reception as the volume jumps up and down but it happens on all the sources.
